Brain Matters Research - Current News and Events

We recently participated in Mediaplanet’s Fighting Alzheimer’s campaign where we united with like-minded industry leaders to raise awareness about the need for increased funding for research, how to better the lives of those living with Alzheimer’s and how to assist their families and caregivers. The campaign was distributed through USA TODAY on November 28th 2016 and is published online. For the full campaign, visit: futureofpersonalhealth.com.

Global Alzheimer’s Platform Foundation and Brain Health Registry Partner to Speed Alzheimer’s Treatment by 2025

Global Alzheimer’s Platform (GAP) Foundation today announced a partnership with the innovative Internet-based Brain Health Registry (BHR) to grow BHR’s global registry of potential Alzheimer’s clinical trial candidates and help speed a treatment for Alzheimer’s disease by 2025. Through the partnership, GAP aims to add tens of thousands of new registry members by the third quarter of 2016 in an effort to learn how best to use new technology to grow enrollment in clinical trials, a critical pacing element in the fight against Alzheimer’s. GAP recruitment efforts will engage major research institutions across the country, beginning with Harvard Medical School (Boston), Brown Medical School (Providence), Cleveland Clinic’s Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health (Las Vegas), Emory University (Atlanta) and Brain Matters Research (South Florida).
